The Knight of the Month Award is given each month to a person whose contribution to the Council, Church and community is above and beyond the norm. This award is our way of saying thank you for your efforts.
We will select the Knight of the Month based on a combination of Volunteer service hours reported by the Knights each Month, observed service of the Knight's service noted, and nominations made by other Knights on behalf of the individual. Criteria, guidelines to consider when nominating a fellow Knight should be:
1. Promoting the ideals of Catholic Christian fellowship 2. Providing Service of time and talents to the Church, council and Community 3. Practice of the Catholic Faith in thoughts, deeds, actions
The overarching criteria to consider when nominating a Knight is that he went above and beyond the normal duties he may have in the council to support the council.
Nominations will normally be made by the last Monday of each month, but due to the holiday in May, I request that the nomination for May's Knight of the Month be made No later Than Monday, June 8, 2009.
